Confidence

Confidence in children and adolescents is closely linked to mental health outcomes, with low self-confidence associated with increased risk for anxiety and depression. Building confidence through positive experiences, skill development, and supportive relationships can serve as a protective factor for mental health. Interventions targeting self-confidence and self-efficacy can be effective components of mental health promotion and treatment programs for youth.
