Biography
Sarah has worked with children and young people with eating disorders for over 15 years and is a clinical advisor to BEAT the national eating disorders charity. Sarah has two research interests and has published papers in both areas, veganism in eating disorders and feeding under restraint in inpatient settings. Sarah is received funding from NHS England for her research and is currently working at Imperial College London for this. Sarah was also placed on the British Dietetic Association’s Roll of Honor in 2020 for her research into feeding under restraint. Sarah has a number of teaching positions: for the Royal College of Paediatrics education regarding eating disorder, for Health Education England national eating disorders teaching programme and has an honorary contract at the University of Northampton for their Child and Adolescent Mental Health masters programme.
