Biography
Professor Rosie Meek is a Chartered Psychologist and leading expert in criminal justice, youth rehabilitation, and the role of structured programmes such as sport in fostering behavioural change. She has conducted extensive research evaluating the impact of physical activity and mentoring in the prison system, with a focus on emotional regulation, identity development, and reducing reoffending rates.
Professor Meek has authored numerous academic articles, books, and influential reviews, including work for the UK Ministry of Justice. Her research highlights the transformative potential of collaborative, youth-centred approaches in helping young people reset their life paths. Rosie is also a Fulbright Scholar, UK Research and Innovation Policy Fellow, and advisor to international organisations such as the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
