Biography

Samuele Cortese, MD, PhD, is a Full Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Southampton and an Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Solent NHS Trust. He also holds an adjunct position at New York University (NYU). Specializing in ADHD, he chairs the European ADHD Guidelines Group. Prof. Cortese has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles and was recognized as one of the world's most influential researchers in psychiatry/psychology in 2021 by Web of Science. In 2022, he was ranked #1 worldwide in ADHD expertise by Expertscape.
