Nita de Neve-Enthoven

Biography

Nita de Neve-Enthoven works as a researcher (PhD candidate) for the iBerry Study and teaches medical students at Erasmus MC. Nita’s academic background is in Clinical, Health, and Neuropsychology. Nita’s research focuses on young people who feel down and experience little joy in their lives. For instance, they may struggle to truly enjoy anything, lack energy, or feel uncertain about what they want for their future. Such feelings can stem from various causes, including stress, insecurity, negative experiences, or difficulties at home, at work, or in their studies. Nita wants to gain a better understanding of where these feelings come from. More importantly, she wants to explore how we can help young people feel better again. What helps them regain self-confidence? And how can they find hope for a positive future? Through her research, Nita hopes to contribute to better support for young people who are struggling with their mental well-being.
