Biography

Dr Nicole Harris is an Educational Psychologist working at Portsmouth City Council, and a visiting academic at the University of Southampton. Nicole's childhood on the western coast of Canada- where the mountains greet the sea- has imbued in her a deep sense of connection with the natural world. Nicole's research interests focus on exploring how connecting with nature can support children and young people in connecting with themselves, with a view to supporting both their personal and planetary wellbeing. Nicole has previous research and work experience in the fields of Biology and Environmental Sciences.
