Biography
Luke Williamson Hyde is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Michigan. He received his PhD in Clinical and Developmental Psychology with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Hyde’s research focuses on how adversity and inequality impact the developing child from the preschool years through early adulthood, how these experiences shape brain and behavioral development, and how conduct problems and other aggresison and rule breaking develop over time. This work has been funded by multiple awards from the National Institutes of Health and has been recognized by a variety of early career awards from multiple scientific organizations including the American Psychological Association and Association for Psychological Science.
