Biography
Dr. Liu is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and researcher in psychiatric genetics. She received her PhD in Health, Educational, and Clinical Psychology from University College London in 2021, where she explored the role of genetics and environment in ADHD. Her research focuses on understanding disease risk and identifying targets for early intervention of childhood mood and behavioral problems. As a postdoctoral research associate with Dr. Tom McAdams at King's College London, Dr. Liu studied the intergenerational transmission of depression. Currently at Yale University, her work centers on the genetics of childhood eating problems, aiming to improve insights and interventions for young people and their families.
