Dr. Charlotte Connor

Assistant Professor on The PIPA Trial

Biography

Charlotte is an Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick specialising in youth mental health. She was previously Research Lead on CLAHRC-Birminghan & the Black Country, CLAHRC-West Midlands, working at the University of Birmingham and Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust. Her early research focused on help-seeking and depression & anxiety in young people with first-episode psychosis. More recently her research has focused on greater collaboration with schools and families to increase awareness of mental health issues in young people and improve early identification and support. She is a longstanding advocate of early intervention strategies and the necessity to design and deliver a wide range of evidence-based resources for families of young people with mental health difficulties.
