Biography
Dr Figueiredo trained at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa before completing her specialist training in Wessex. She was appointed Consultant Psychiatrist working with the Dorset Healthcare All Age Eating Disorders Service in 2010. Over the last 3 years she has been working closely with her Diabetes colleagues on the Wessex ComPASSION Pilot, looking into how best to support people living with Type 1 Diabetes and an Eating Disorders.
