Belinda Platt

Biography

Belinda Platt completed her PhD in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford in 2013 and has since been a Research Group Leader in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the LMU University Hospital in Munich, Germany. The goal of Belinda’s research is to understand more about why mental illness runs in families and to use this knowledge to develop and evaluate preventive interventions. Her research has been published in internationally peer-reviewed journals. She is a keen supporter of Open Science practices and the involvement of service users in research.
