Barbara T. Felt

Biography

Barbara Felt, M.D, began her career in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) after residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. After transitioning to the University of Michigan, she founded the Division of DBP and the Fellowship Training Program. She has been passionate about educating trainees and colleagues about common problems for children that can require more time than primary care providers have to effectively manage; elimination disorders, sleep disorders and learning/attention problems. To meet clinical goals and progress, Barbara believes that multidisciplinary care is the most effective pathway. This is particularly true for elimination disorders where both medical and behavioral/mental health factors benefit from close monitoring and management.
