Biography
Ariadna Albajara Saenz is a Wiener-Anspach Postdoctoral Fellow based in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, in Professor Tamsin Ford’s group, the Child and Adolescent Resilience and Mental Health Team.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, and a Master's degree in Neuropsychology from the Université d'Angers, France. She completed her PhD at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, supervised by Professor Isabelle Massat and Professor Philippe Peigneux. Her thesis focused on the association between Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), exploring their overlap and distinctiveness.
Her current research involves the effects of the Incredible Years Teacher Classroom Management training. This program aims to enhance teacher strategies to improve mental health in children, particularly those with probable ADHD, translating findings into evidence-based educational practices and policies.
