Treatment efficacy
Research on treatment efficacy for mental health interventions in children and adolescents with Williams syndrome is limited but growing. Cognitive-behavioural approaches have shown promise in reducing anxiety symptoms, while social skills interventions can improve peer interactions and reduce social vulnerability. However, more research is needed to establish evidence-based treatments specifically tailored to the unique needs of this population.
