Prevalence

Mental health disorders are common among children and adolescents, with global estimates suggesting that 13-20% experience a mental health condition. Anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioural problems are among the most prevalent conditions in this age group. Prevalence rates tend to increase during adolescence, with some studies indicating that up to 1 in 5 adolescents may experience a mental health disorder.
