Biography
Dr. Tong Chen is a postdoctoral scholar in developmental psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. She is interested in understanding mechanisms of the intergenerational transmission of mental health problems using genetically informed designs, and developmental predictors of alcohol use such as childhood behavioral problems. She is enthusiastic about applying innovative longitudinal and genetic modeling approaches to tackle these important problems. She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and B.S. in Psychology from Tsinghua University.
