Biography
Helayna Jenkins is Principal Loneliness Champion at the London Borough of Bromley, implementing the Tackling Loneliness Strategy 2022 – 2026. She is an Incorporated Geotechnical Engineer, with around a decade’s experience working in the construction industry in a number of roles on some of the UK's biggest construction projects. From 2022, Helayna has been helping to shape local society using her ‘problem solving skills’ in a new age way, to bring people of all ages, stages of life and backgrounds together, and help increase social connection for all. Bromley’s international multi award-winning Loneliness Strategy is now being recognised on a global basis showing casing how policy and people can work together to prevent loneliness.
