Biography

Dr Dasha Nicholls is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Deputy Head of the Division of Psychiatry at Imperial College London, where she leads the Child and Adolescent Mental Health research team. Her work focuses on feeding and eating disorders, higher weight management, and broader mental health challenges in children and young people. Through population health research, she emphasises risk factors, early intervention, and scalable solutions like parent training and policy reform. As National Specialty Advisor on All-Age Eating Disorders for NHS England, Dr. Nicholls develops best practices and training for eating disorder care and supports initiatives like the CYP Obesity Oversight Board. She also leads the Central and North West London (CNWL) Children and Young People's Eating Disorders Service and heads training programs for CAMHS and Eating Disorders teams nationally.
