Biography

Dr. Bettina Hohnen is a Clinical Psychologist, author, and speaker with expertise in child mental health and neurodiversity. She works closely with parents, schools, and organisations, translating complex neuroscience into practical, evidence-based strategies to help young people thrive by empowering the adults in their lives. As an academic and UCL teaching fellow, Dr. Hohnen bridges complex science with accessible insights, fostering safe spaces for growth and change. She supports families facing challenges such as ADHD or mental health difficulties, providing tailored guidance and tools through group courses and one-on-one sessions. Bettina works with Nip in the Bud to create monthly advice vlogs supporting children’s mental health, offering guidance for families and educators navigating neurodiversity.
