Jolene Ironside
Trauma Informed Practitioner an Integrative Arts Counsellor for Teenagers and Adolescence (BACP)
Biography
Jolene is a BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor and a specialist in neurodiversity and trauma, with more than twenty years’ experience supporting wellbeing through holistic therapies and counselling. Her focus is on working with adolescents, creating safe, inclusive, and affirming spaces where young people can explore who they are and build resilience. She uses the Arts as a tool for expression and healing, particularly for those who find words difficult to access. Alongside counselling, Jolene is a certified Child Accelerated Trauma Therapist, Safe and Sound Protocol Practitioner, ADHD Coach, Sensory Intelligence Practitioner, and Hatha Yoga Instructor. These approaches enable her to bring together mind, body, and creative practices, tailoring support to each individual’s unique needs. At the heart of Jolene’s work is the belief that every child and young person has the capacity to thrive when offered the right understanding, tools and environment.
