Biography

Dr. Charlotte Hall is a Principal Research Fellow working within the NIHR MindTech-MedTech Cooperative and Biomedical Research Centre at the University of Nottingham. Charlotte has a keen interest in exploring how digital interventions can be used to improve the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders in children and young people, with a particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders, including tic disorders. Charlotte managed the NIHR HRA ORBIT-Trial, a large randomised controlled trial evaluating online therapy for tic disorders. She is co-leading the NIHR i4i PDA award with Prof Chris Hollis, to implement the findings of ORBIT within the NHS. Charlotte is also co-investigator on the INTEND study, led by Dr Maddie Groom, which aims to develop a service model for tic disorders in England and is exploring how to improve GPs knowledge and confidence in tic disorders.
