Biography
Marcia Brissett-Bailey is an internationally recognised thought leader, advocate, and speaker featured in Forbes, known for her groundbreaking work in dyslexia and neurodiversity. With over three decades of experience in education, she has held roles across all levels and currently serves as the Further Education Partnership Lead at Diversity and Ability. Marcia is a co-founder of the British Dyslexia Cultural Perspective Committee, a trustee at the Waltham Forest Dyslexia Association, and an advisor to the Centre for Neurodiversity Research at Work.
A published author and consultant, Marcia has contributed to books such as Dyslexia from a Cultural Perspective and The Bigger Picture Book of Amazing Dyslexics. Her impactful speaking engagements explore representation, education, and workplace inclusion, earning her a nomination for the Stereotype Buster of the Year Award. Through her advocacy, Marcia empowers individuals with neurodiverse backgrounds to embrace their strengths and amplify their voices.
